The Jade Frequency

About this book

In the turbulent final year of the Goryeo Dynasty, 1392, a young royal musician named Sigrid and a court astronomer named Abay discover an impossible artifact hidden within the palace walls: a jade flute that emits a frequency capable of manipulating time. As the political landscape crumbles under the rise of the Joseon revolutionaries, Sigrid and Abay realize the flute is not of this world, but a remnant of advanced visitors who shaped human history. Hunted by General Yi Seong-gye’s elite guards and a secret sect known as the Chronos Keepers who wish to weaponize the technology, the duo must navigate the dangerous streets of Gaegyeong. They race to decipher the flute's song, which holds the key to saving the crumbling dynasty or birthing a new era of technological wonder. Amidst sword fights and sonic puzzles, they uncover a hidden underground laboratory beneath the royal observatory, revealing that the transition of power is not just political, but cosmic.
