Novelist is an AI-powered platform that generates complete EPUB novels from your prompts. Our advanced AI creates professional-quality books with proper formatting, chapters, and structure that you can read on any e-reader device.
How does the AI novel generation work?
Simply provide a story prompt describing your desired plot, characters, and setting. Our AI analyzes your input and generates a complete novel with multiple chapters, dialogue, and narrative structure.
What file formats do you support?
We generate novels in EPUB format, which is compatible with all major e-readers including Kindle, Apple Books, Google Play Books, and most reading apps. EPUB files can also be converted to other formats if needed.
How long does it take to generate a novel?
Full novel generation typically takes about 1 hour and up to 2 hours maximum. You'll receive an email notification when your book is ready.
What languages are supported?
We support 13 languages for both the user interface and novel generation: English, Spanish, German, French, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Arabic, Hindi, and Indonesian. The AI can create novels in any of these languages based on your preference settings.
How much does it cost?

What happens to my data and prompts?
We prioritize privacy and security. Your prompts and generated content are processed securely and not stored permanently on our servers. We don't share your creative content with third parties or use it to train our models.
Do I need to verify my email?
Email verification is required to receive your completed novels. We send a verification link after signup. Verified accounts ensure reliable delivery of your EPUB files and access to your generation history.
What are the technical requirements?
Novelist works in any modern web browser on desktop, tablet, or mobile devices. No special software is required. Generated EPUB files can be read on any device that supports the EPUB format.
How do I read my generated novel on my e-reader or phone?
For an optimal reading experience, you can send the file to your e-reader's email address. If you want to read it on your phone, you can use the "My Library" section on our website, or you can read it in a compatible app, such as Epub Reader for Android or Apple Books for iPhone (simply share the file from the email with the Apple Books app).
Where can I find specific instructions for Kindle and PocketBook?

How do I report an issue with my book generation?
If you encounter any problems with your book generation, you can easily log a support ticket. Go to your Requests page, find the affected request, and click "Log Issue". Fill out the form with details about your problem, and our AI-powered system will analyze it automatically to help resolve it quickly.
How can I track the status of my support ticket?
You can view all your support tickets and their status by navigating to the Support section from your dashboard. Each ticket shows its current status, AI analysis results, and any responses from our team. You can also add comments to provide additional information.
Are there any limitations or inconsistencies in AI-generated novels?
Due to the nature of generative AI, minor inconsistencies may occasionally occur in the generated novels, such as small contradictions in details, slight variations in character descriptions, or minor continuity issues. However, we are committed to pursuing professional-level quality in all novels produced. Why are my Novelist emails going to spam?
Some email providers may incorrectly flag our emails as spam. To ensure you receive your novel delivery emails in your inbox, add our sender address to your contacts:
iPhone (iOS)
Open the Contacts app, tap the + icon in the top-right corner, enter "Novelist" as the name, tap "add email" and type the email address above, then tap Done.
Android (Google Contacts)
Open the Contacts app, tap the + button in the bottom-right corner, enter "Novelist" as the name, type the email address in the Email field, then tap Save.
Why does this work?
Email providers assume you do not save spammers to your address book. When an email arrives from a contact in your address book, it bypasses spam filters and goes directly to your inbox.
